Why You Should Care About Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate → gamersheroes.com

Monster Hunter is a series that in Japan has sold like bonkers and carried the systems the franchises have picked at the time period. Most people point to Monster Hunter being the saving grace of the PSP and certainly we saw the sales and domination of the 3DS over the PS Vita after Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate released in Japan along with the announcement of Monster Hunter 4 being a Nintendo exclusive. Still somehow over in the US and UK not very many people know about one of Capcom’s biggest franchises. I wanted to take a peek into this game to find out why people should care about this game and why it is only really popular in the Japanese games market. What I found was a game that everyone should really pay attention to.

BioShock Infinite Review: A Game for the Ages → gamersheroes.com

When I was first given the job of Reviewing BioShock Infinite I thought it was just going to be another job, another game and another review. All I could see ahead of me is a 10-15 hour gameplay session and started my normal note taking process. “The game opens with a strong sense of place” was the first thing that I wrote down and then it hit me. After the first hour of play, I knew this was not another job. Games like BioShock Infinite are the reason that I get up out of bed every day and work as a video game enthusiast writer. The BioShock series, and this game, will be talked about for years to come on more than just gameplay aspects, it will become the blueprint on how to build a fictional world.

Gears of War: Judgment Review → gamersheroes.com

It’s another year and another Gears of War game, at least that is how I felt when I popped in the Gears of War: Judgment disk into my Xbox 360. It all just felt so familiar. I knew there was going to be plenty of chainsaws, impaled enemies, explosions and of course some extreme texture pop that everyone has gotten used from this generation of consoles and Unreal Engine 3. What I didn’t know is that this new edition in the Gears of War franchise would change up its formula so much. Do the changes warrant a $60 game, or is it time for the Gears of War franchise to crawl back down the emergence hole it came from?

Gears of War Judgment COG Tag Location Guide → gamersheroes.com

The fourth entry in the Gears of War franchise has a major collectible that is worth a trophy/achievement and some in game goodies if you find all of them. Like in the past entries, there are COG tags strewn throughout each section of the game. During the Judgement section of the campaign it is easiest to look for a red COG tag sprayed on the sides of buildings, trees and other objects. Look around these sprayed objects and you are bound to find a COG tag. If you need anymore help looking for them, this COG Tag Location Guide for Gears of War Judgement will go over all of the different COG tag locations in both the Judgement and the Aftermath sections of the campaign. Let’s get started.

SimCity Servers Must Be Reticulating Splines Terribly → gamersheroes.com

SimCity, published by EA and developed by the every knowing simulation creator Maxis, decided to launch with an always on server structure that makes people log into accounts before playing the game. Unfortunately the servers the past two days have been a little less than reliable. Errors come in many different waves and flavors when trying to play causing people to get extremely frustrated. The most common error is people just not being able to connect to the servers and being put in large ques. However some of the errors go so far as to lose major progress in the game, delete past cities and causing players to play the tutorial over and over again. The twitter sphere as well as a ton of other social networks seem to be blowing up in anger. All I have to say about all of this is, when are we going to learn?
